As women, we do a lot for the sake of beauty. But, some tools make looking good effortless. Today, I want to share two beauty tools that I think every woman should know about. Even though these tools are super fast and easy to use, the results are amazing!
These things have been around for many years, yet many women never try it! Believe it or not, after a few uses, this thing is not very painful at all!
Before epilators, I've tried shaving and waxing. The results of shaving are very mediocre and require a lot of maintenance. The results from waxing is similar to an epilator, but the whole process is messy and troublesome. Plus, waxing is WAY more painful than epilating.
Here is why I love the epilator.
The epilator removes hair from the root. This means the results are smoother, and that hair takes much longer to re-grow. I've also found that the more that you epilate, the less you have to worry about hair removal, as the hair seems to grow in finer each time.
All you have to do is run the epilator over your skin and then lotion up when you're done. Some people exfoliate beforehand to avoid ingrown hairs, but I've never had this problem.
This is the main reason why most don't try this wonderful little tool. If it's your first time, start with your thigh where the hair is thinnest. Over a short time period, you'll be able to go over thicker hair like the armpits. With each use, it becomes less painful and less frequent as your hair becomes thinner with each use. Personally, I've never found it to be painful at all, and much less painful than waxing. Just make sure that whatever hair you're epilating, that it's short! Otherwise, trim it, or else it will hurt A LOT!
There is no easier way to get salon like results than by using hot rollers. Simply heat them up and roll your hair. It only takes a few minutes. Then, brush your teeth, do your makeup and get dressed. By the time everything else is done, let the rollers out, and voila! Gorgeous big curls!
Hot rollers are much easier than blow dryers, curling irons and straighteners, as you just set it and go.
If you have hard to curl hair, try wax core hot rollers instead. I own both old school plastic wax core rollers and ceramic hot rollers. Ceramic hot rollers produce a smoother result but curls do not last as long. For my easy to curl hair, ceramic hot rollers are preferred.
For big sexy relaxed curls, I recommend 1.5 inch hot rollers. Most people will need about 12 rollers to do all their hair.
My favorite hot rollers are Babyliss ceramic 12 rollers. These are the ones that I own and used to achieve the results above.
Thanks as always for reading! Do you have a beauty tool that you absolutely can't live without? If so, please share it!
