It's been a crazy 2 months. I'm stepping into my third trimester, and in addition to moving and orchestrating fixes on our new-to-us 1950's home, I decided to lend a hand to my hubby's business. They recently moved offices, and the new, larger space needed to look MUCH different from the last workplace.
It needed to be done under a scrappy budget ($60,000 for 7,000 square feet) and look inviting yet professional for Cobalt employees and visitors alike. I got it done for only $40,000! Fridges, sit-and-stand desks, working with contractors, etc, everything included!
Anyway, for anyone interested in my second decor project or some of the stuff I've been up to, see the first here, a compact studio decor design.
This ended up being a pretty large favor. When I originally committed to it, I was not yet pregnant, and pregnancy, particularly one filled with nausea, is no picnic. But, I'm really glad that I was able to help them out, and they're able to enjoy the space.
It's been quite eventful in the last couple of months. I'm managing all the house fixes in our small and humble abode while living among boxes. It's from the 1950's, and most of the house is original (and not in a good way LOL).
But, all this work is headed towards such a great outcome. A new little soul to bring joy and love, a house to turn into a home, and a continued adventure with my most favorite person in the world, my adoring husband.
