Here's my newest Herve Leger top in action. It is my most wearable Herve Leger yet. Suited perfectly for everyday wear, see how it looked on a casual summer weekend.
I'm much more bashful about showing cleavage as opposed to legs, so this Herve Leger top is about as perfect as a top can get. It's really casual, sports a high but very flattering neckline, and most of all, has amazing hold that only my Herve Leger tops provide!
Speaking of showing off body parts, many of you know that I recently started being disciplined about working out. While I actually weigh heavier, I've already lost an inch around my waist. I am stronger, and I feel really good about my investment to the future of my body and health. And, what's really amazing is that after-workout rush that everyone talks about is totally true.
The only negative thing is I have been breaking out like crazy. I stopped wearing face makeup about 1.5 months ago, and my skin was in the most amazing condition that I ever remembered it being (coupled with my holy grail skincare products, but now, it's really bad. And, yes, I wash my face prior to working out and take a shower afterwards. :( Not sure what to do. Salicylic acid toner helps a bit... Any suggestions?
Btw, there's a couple things that I learned about working out this time around. I've always worked out a tiny bit here and there but never stuck to it to ever see any obvious benefits. Btw, I've been working out nearly every day for over a month now. **pat on back**
In order to stick to it in the long haul, I have to think about the long-term goals and not short-term vanity goals. For instance, having the ability to jog with ease when I become a *hopefully* sweet old lady. The short-term goals like a better bod will come naturally with exercising and eating clean as I focus on the bigger picture.
And, the second thing is finding the workouts that work for me. It's much easier to stick to something that you enjoy. For me, it's high intensity full-body circuit training. See my favorite You-tube workout video here. :) Enjoy!! The rapid movements, continual changing, pure exertion, and watching someone else amped up really helps.
Anyway, I'm glad that I got a chance to catch up with ya'll about something outside of fashion. I love sharing with you all about the stuff that I'm excited about and am incredibly lucky to have access to both this platform and community. Thank you. :) And, wishing you all the best of health.
