As we step into 2016, I want to send a very special thanks to all the community members at Lollipuff. It is amazing how Lollipuff has grown and evolved over the years. Without all of you, this site that we are so passionate and obsessed with, would be nothing.
So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you, THANK YOU, a MILLION times over!
It doesn't seem that long ago, but 5 years ago, I started a tiny and very awkward-looking fashion blog about my obsession with authenticity and Herve Leger, and now that blog has transformed into what I feel is my life's work.
If it had not been for key community members who continually pushed for services, loved our authenticity mission, and provided feedback, I would not be able to have a job that I am head-over-heels in love with.
So, I don't even know how I can express the depth of my gratitude. But, thank you so much for yet another beautiful year and for being part of this beautiful community of fashion enthusiasts. You are making it possible to get deals on AUTHENTIC designer items, and this is such a joyous experience!
But, before we completely say adieu to 2015, here are a few personal favorite blog posts from last year. :)
The biggest brand that got added to Lollipuff in 2015 was Hermes. And, with it, came 2 authentication guides for some of their most popular fashion items: Hermes clic clac H bracelet, and Hermes bags.
The authentication category represents some of our most popular articles. There's a lot of interesting stuff there. See all the designer authentication posts here.
I love my designer items, and I always want them looking just as good if not better than the day that I got them. So, tips on maintaining the beauty of designer items is crucial. Here are a few of my favorite care guides from 2015: how to wash Herve Leger and maintaining Christian Louboutin shoes.
If you've got Herve Leger clothing or Christian Louboutin shoes, these are must-reads.
Here are 4 outfits that I really enjoyed in 2015: Herve Leger Avi dress for a date night look, All-denim short shorts look with a gorgeous large vintage Chanel flap, Layered look at Boston, and over-the-knee boots Fall/Winter look.
There's a lot to know about designer items. Did you know that many designer items can be dated by observing certain tags and numbers? In 2015, our favorite guides included explaining Louis Vuitton datecodes, Chanel costume jewelry markings, and Chanel serial stickers.
I'm no spring chicken to Chanel bags, Herve Leger dresses, Christian Louboutin heels and more, but 2015 was the year I got my first Valentino rockstuds. And, man, are these gorgeous, so it's no surprise, that they are my favorite fashion purchase for 2015.
Creating and DIY stuff is so fun, right? The two DIY posts that garnered the most enthusiasm from all of you include the Chanel lipstick flash drive DIY and a large collection of Hermes scarf knotting cards showing how to transform scarves into tops, bags, and more!
Lollipuff has been on TV more than a few times now. We have a great reputation as a trusted authenticator, and it's very important that shoppers know to be cautious when shopping online for genuine designer items at discounted prices.
Here's to all your beautiful memories and experiences from 2015. I hope that you had many, and I hope that you have even more in 2016. And, again, THANK YOU! Happy 2016!
