Hermes scarves are painstakingly screen-printed layer by layer by hand, resulting in some of the most intricate and vibrant scarves out there. And, they pair some of the finest leathers with the most skilled tradesmen for their bags. This brand is known for top-notch quality. So, it shocked me when I found out that they also sold origami horses.
A set of 4 perfumed folded horses (here) costs $79. Each horse stands at a significant 5.3 x 5.3 x 2.2 inches which is equivalent in size to many small paperback books. The fragrant paper looks sturdy and grained.
But, in the end, I can't get over the fact that it's just a simple origami pattern that almost anyone can fold. What do you think?
Hermes also released the above folding tutorial for a Hermes horse. If you have any questions, leave it below. I've used the tutorial to fold a horse of my own. :)
