Outfit with Louis Vuitton Alma Bag

The Alma is one of my most favorite bags from Louis Vuitton. Its design is just as popular today as it was when it was first created in 1934. The ladylike shape and structure has proven to be one of the most timeless fashion pieces. And, it's certainly durable too; the bag in this post is 17 years old!

The Alma bag is an extremely structured bag with a short handle. These features along with its perfect-for-almost-everyone size explains why this bag is so popular.

The monogram canvas shows almost no wear. The smooth vachetta leather has darkened to a dark honey color, and the coloring is no longer even. Given how well Louis Vuitton bags are made, this is the one feature that gives away the age of a bag.
