We get a lot of questions about how to make a post stand out. So, I've decided to go over some tips on how to make your listing more inviting to potential bidders/buyers. This advice can be applied to not only Lollipuff listings, but eBay, Craigslist and more.
Nothing is more fun than seeing a personal modeling pic. Us ladies love to see how real people look with a bag or dress or shoes. It brings the item to life. If you have one, share it. If you're concerned about privacy, just crop off your face. Modeling pics, whether on a mannequin or a person, are greatly appreciated by others and help people figure out how the item will look on themselves.
If possible, take pictures using natural light. Open the window blinds and let the sun shine in! Natural bright sunlight lends to clearer pictures with minimal color distortion.
It doesn't have to be a solid white or black, but when the background is less busy, your pictures will look more polished.
Example: Blue Herve Leger Eva Dress vs. Blue Herve Leger Eva Flared A line Dress XS
Clearly the second title is better and will help others to find your item easier. People will use the search box to find all flared dresses or all dresses in xs. If the dress runs big or small, be sure to include the other size as well in the title.
A great description should include the condition of the item, a few things that you like about the item and specifications such as color, size, etc. Measurements are always helpful. This includes heel height, dress length, and bag dimensions.
Letting people know whether you accept returns is also very helpful. If you don't, simply state: "No returns please. Please be sure ask questions; I'm happy to answer. :)"
If you do, clearly state out any terms that you have for returns.
Don't worry if you can't follow these tips. After all, they're just helpful tips for those who want them. :)
