One of my favorite wardrobe items is a great wide cincher belt. It can change the look of an outfit, expand a closet, and enhance the waistline.

This shirt dress is really cute by itself, but I wanted to emphasize the waistline. A wide stretch belt does just that. It pulls in the waist, and instantly makes the outfit look more polished.
And, this belt looks great with so many different dresses, including some dresses that I haven't worn in a while.

As many of you know, I love Herve Leger belts. So, how does this BCBG belt compare?
The quality of the BCBG belt is nowhere near the quality of a Herve Leger belt. Instead of leather, it's faux leather. This will undoubtedly flake over time. And, gone are the nice little stitches to make the belt last for many many years.

However, the timelessness and simplicity of design of the BCBG belt is hard to beat, and it pulls in the waist quite well! Now, if only my waist can look that small without help. 😉

Are you good at authenticating bags? Find out just how good you are with this handbag authentication quiz.
Quiz Part A: Are you at least a beginner?
Which of the following 3 bags are definitely fake?

If you knew that only (1) the motorcycle bag, and (3) the vitello daino bag were counterfeit, you are probably at least a beginner in authenticating designer bags. Bags 1 and 3 are very obvious and extremely poorly-made counterfeits. Pat yourself on the back and proceed to Part B.
Quiz Part B: Are you ok at authenticating handbags?
Which of the following bags are certainly replicas?

If you knew that only bag 1 (Birkin) was the fake, you probably have an eye for quality and are able to weed out a reasonable number of fake bags. If you got this right, get ready for the final part of the quiz!
Quiz Part C: Are you better than most people at authenticating?
Which of the bag(s) below have features confirming that they are replicas?

If you could tell that only bags (1) caviar double flap, and (2) saffiano tote were counterfeit, congrats! You are probably much better at authentication than most people.
The Medallion bag is another Chanel classic that makes a perfect everyday bag. Not only is it a great size, but it can be worn as a hand bag or shoulder bag!

The Medallion bag used to be a classic that Chanel offered every year. But, it was discontinued. Sometime in 2013, they disappeared completely from Chanel stores. Now, this beautiful bag is available only in the resale market.
It's not hard to see how this bag can easily become an everyday favorite. Btw, if you watched The Hills, you'd know that this was one of Lauren Conrad's favorite bags.

This tote, measuring approximately 12.5 x 10 x 6 inches with a 6.5 inch handle/shoulder drop, is a fashionable shoulder bag or hand bag.
Both the exterior and interior of this structured tote is made of leather.
Weighing about 1.5 lbs, the bag can easily support 4 lbs of contents. Unless, you like to lug around a TON of stuff, this bag will cover your everyday needs along with some extras.

This bag is loaded with full-sized flat slippers, a long wallet, large cell-phone, small notebook, Kindle, phone backup charger, tube of lotion, and other miscellaneous small items, and it's still got room for additional belongings!
Oh, and it's big enough to support an IPad too!

One thing to note about the medallion bag is that its straps have a tendency to flop to its sides over time and over use. This usually doesn't make the straps fragile or likely to tear off, it just means that it won't be rigidly upright when the tote is not being worn.
Vintage Chanel bags are a true testament to the designer's quality. They are timeless and continue to impress throughout the years. One of the most popular vintage Chanel bags is this maxi flap with large CC hardware.

Though this bag is no longer in Chanel stores, it's still coveted by Chanel fans and celebs alike. Trendsetters Victoria Beckham, Chrissy Teigen and Nicole Richie have all been spotted with this beautiful classic.

The size of this vintage bag is nearly identical to the current classic maxi flap and measures approximately 13.5 x 9 x 4 inches.
With its structured frame, it can support a lot. Up to 4 lbs of belongings can be carried without fear of bag sag or damage.

n this bag, I've loaded it up with a long wallet, small notebook, flat shoes, lotion, Kindle, large phone, battery backup and a few other smaller miscellaneous objects, and it still has room for more stuff.
For tech addicts, you'll be happy to know that a standard-size tablet easily fits.

Empty, this statement bag weighs about 2.5 lbs due to its quality materials. In my opinion, it really doesn't feel too heavy at all, but it is a substantial piece.

I've been coveting the Valentino rockstud City sandals for eons, but those shoes never seem to go on sale. But, the other week, I got a little surprise.

One of my very very good friends found a dupe of the Valentino City sandals in my size at a local DSW. She promptly got them for me! I am truly blessed.
The only unfortunate thing is that I haven't been able to find them, online or in-stores. They aren't as PERFECT as the Valentino City sandals, but these shoes also retailed less than $100, so they are truly amazing!

Shoes and bags really make a difference. Swap out the Chanel medallion handbag and the block-heeled studded sandals, and this outfit would be entirely different.

More convincing replicas are called super fakes in the authentication world. These horrible counterfeit bags often trick those who are not authenticators specializing in the brand. Here is a medium Chanel black caviar double flap bag superfake, Louis Vuitton V Neverfull MM bag superfake, and a Prada saffiano double zip tote superfake.
People are always curious about superfakes, because they are difficult to spot for most people. Thankfully, our authentication software makes noticing superfakes easy.
Whether it be the logos, manufacture info, hardware details, material details, etc, the following bags all have at LEAST a couple things wrong with them.

If you're one of those people looking to buy a super fake, please don't. Why would you get an inferior wannabee item? Aside from that, there are many reasons not to.
First, the cost of superfakes are NOT necessarily cheaper than getting a pre-owned authentic version! Yes! That's right! Super fakes, even though they are fake, are usually expensive.
Most superfakes are sold as resale items posing as the authentic version, because these scammers know that a lot of people can be duped. Why sell a fake for less than what they can get it for? But, even when they come directly from the counterfeit manufacturer, they're requesting at least hundreds of dollars for them.
And, it's illegal to sell a counterfeit. Financially, it makes so much more sense to buy an authentic pre-owned bag. The authentic bag will last longer, age better, and you can wear it confidently knowing that it's the real thing! If you ever tire of it, put it back into the resale market. SO. MUCH. MORE. SENSE.
There's also a lot of risk when trying to buy a superfake. Most fakes on atrocious sites promising "AAA" or "1 to 1" quality replicas are closer to "D" quality. Don't trust counterfeitors; they're in the business of scamming! DUH! You'll end up spending your hard-earned money for an obviously fake item.
Or even worse, you relinquish your money or financial information to someone who is willing to conduct illegal business. Notice how counterfeit sites don't use PayPal and many prefer wire transfers? YIKES!
And, if you're one of those people who loves AUTHENTIC designer items, you totally belong in Lollipuff's community. Authenticity is EVERYTHING here.
Here are 5 more Herve Leger dress reviews straight from the changing room. Find out which dresses are hidden gems and which fell short of expectations.

I adore Herve Leger a-line dresses. While this one was flattering and had the expected usual hold, this one felt a little big around the hip area. So, if you have average to large hips, this dress will better suit you than me. I'm a mix between an hourglass and an apple; I typically will wear a universal m for a bikini top and an xs for the bottoms. :/
This dress runs mostly true to size.

This dress is very flattering; it would look stunning on many body types. But, the cutouts throughout the dress make it a difficult dress to dress down. Plus, if you desire or require to wear a bra underneath, it's near impossible.
This very pretty dress is also true to size.

This blue jacquard dress is quite stretchy, because it is not the usual Herve Leger bandage material. I found this dress to have less hold than usual, but very very flattering from top to bottom. It would be a very easy dress to wear both on the weekend or to a dressy evening event.
While this dress runs true to size, its stretchy jacquard material let's you get away with sizing 1 size up or down.

The Liza dress is essentially the Carmen dress with a flared skirt.
I found the top hip area to run a little big. Again, if you have average to large hips, this dress will suit you more than me. Even though the hip area felt a bit loose, this dress is still mostly true to size.

This dress was love from neckline to hip, but it was weird around the crotch. It had above average hold, and the style of the dress was very elegant.
This final dress also ran true to size.
Want to see some of the newest Herve Leger dresses? I recently went to the Herve Leger boutique to check out some of the most recent additions.

This little Herve Leger dress was very flattering and flared out at just the right spots. The material is a thick jacquard fabric. Jacquard fabric has less hold than the traditional Herve Leger bandage material. It also looks slightly more casual than the rayon blend bandage fabric.
This dress runs mostly true to size. Jacquard material is very stretchy, so you can easily size 1 size up or down and still have a pleasing fit.

This blue dress is everything that you'd expect from a Herve Leger. It's got great hold, and is as seductive as it is classy.
This dress runs true to size.

The Danae dress is another Herve Leger in jacquard material. This means less body-contouring than most other Herve Leger dresses.
This dress ran big, so go down 1 size from your usual Herve Leger size.

I tried on quite a few jacquard dresses this time. Even though they don't shape you as much as the standard bandage material, the thick jacquard fabric is very flattering and very comfortable to wear.
I loved this simple sleeveless animal-print dress. It is so chic, and it would look incredibly amazing with a ton of different blazers, jackets and cardigans.
This dress runs true to size.

Of the 5 dresses, this scalloped a-line dress was my least favorite. Unlike the other dresses, the dimensions of this dress seemed off. The waist area seemed loose, while the bust area ran about one size small.
Spring is officially here, and I'm so excited for all the short dresses, skorts and shorts to come! Here's a springtime look with one of my favorite fashion pairings: plaid with leather.

Pair classic plaid with some black leather, and you're instantly a little more rocker chic! Nothing's better than fashion that's effortless.
Some of my favorite plaid and leather looks are: white top, jeans, black leather jacket with a classic plaid tied around the waist, OR a black top, black leather jacket, jeans, and a large plaid scarf!

At the end of each season, I'm always looking forward to the next. Spring means more skirts, skorts, and dresses. Here's my first skirt (or skort rather) outfit of the year.

If there's one bag that I cannot be without, it's this beauty: the classic Chanel double flap handbag. It just makes everything look better. And, I know that I've said this many times, but can you believe that this bag is almost the same age as I am???

Since it's just a little bit chilly, I've paired my mini skort outfit with some tights and a cardigan. Spring and Fall are the best fashion seasons. They call for extra accessories. And, it's just a little bit chilly to warrant cardigans and blazers that are as slimming as they are fashionable.

But, the main thing that I love about this outfit is SKORTS! My love for mini skorts has not waned since my early college days. They're so easy to wear. Here's a few that are very flattering: here, here, and here.
